Crab Claw Appetizer edit

Hi All,

I have a nice quick appetizer recipe for you guys.  This is perfect for dinner parties or just a special family dinner.  If you love crabs like I do, you will love this quick and easy dish.  You don’t need many ingredients, but the taste is amazing.

1 lb crab claws

1 tablespoon shallots minced

3 cloves garlic minced

1 teaspoon Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon extra virgin olive oil

1 tablespoon sherry vinegar

salt and pepper to taste (generous pepper)

1 tablespoon parsley for garnish

Rinse crab claws in a large bowl and add salt and pepper.  Heat oil in a large skillet on medium/low heat.  Mix shallots, garlic, sherry vinegar and mustard in a food processor.  Add a little oil to this mixture. Add crabs to the skillet and cook for about 5 minutes and add shallot mixture to crabs. Make sure you toss well, so every claw can taste the sauce.

You can slice a few pieces of French bread and place in a blow.  Top with crab claws and sauce, then sprinkle with parsley.

I love making these.  I actually had them with my grilled shrimp salad.  It was a lite night.
