As I stated in my last post, we visited the County Line Orchard this past weekend and we had a great time. This Orchard is like a country amusement park filled with tractor rides, farm animals, a corn maze, entertainment, food and lots of fun.
We didn’t even realize we were there for over five hours…wow!
The orchard charge admission for entry, and we decided to purchase the All access pass. Our first stop was the Kids Farm. They allow the little ones to feed the farm animals. We saw goats, pigs, baby chicks, sheep, rabbits, calves, llamas, and miniature horses. Here are a few pictures.
We must have spent two hours in this section alone.
After the Kid Farm, we decided to eat, so we headed over to the kitchen and dining hall. They have picnic table and a live band to jam country-style.
We saw a bunch of ladybugs and I love them, so I had to take a picture. I told you I was picture happy here.
Now that we got our eat on, we took a tractor ride to the corn maze, pumpkin patch, sunflower garden and apple trees
Overview of the corn maze is the picture on the building…Go Blackhawks!
My husband came out of the sunflower garden with this beautiful flower, he called it a crystal eye sunflower. I thought that was so sweet.
Now, after all the feeding and picking, we had to pay for the things we picked. You can’t just go up to a register, pay and leave, you have to pass all the sweet snacks, caramel apples, pies, apple cider, pumpkin donuts, plants and even toys (and much much more). We tried the caramel apples, cherry apple cider and vanilla creme soda, which was delicious.
If you are ever in Hobart, Indiana at the beginning of Fall season, you have to stop by County Line Orchard….nice place to visit.
