Hi All! I hope you had a great weekend.
The official day of Fall is September 22nd, but it’s now creeping in. The leaves are starting to fall ,the temperature dropped and I see pumpkins everywhere.
I’m not ready yet, I haven’t completed all of my summer projects, and I absolutely dread winter.
Since I can’t add more days to fall, I’ll embrace it and I decided to visit an apple orchard. We took the little one to County Line Orchard in Indiana on Saturday because it was a beautiful day and I’m not sure how many more we will get. It’s one of those self picking orchards, but this one has so much more.
We also picked Gala apples, but for some reason I didn’t take a picture of the sign. Well, probably because it was the last stop and we were exhausted.
Here are a few pictures of the apple trees. I just thought they were so pretty. I must have taken over a hundred pictures.
That’s my husband trying to find the perfect apple…LOL
That’s my husband’s baseball grip for the perfect apple. I believe he had more fun picking apples than all of us.
I thought this was so cute! I just had to post this one.
This place offer so much, I will have to post the rest of our activities tomorrow. If you are in Northwest Indiana, I would highly recommend visiting. Now I need to figure out what to do with all these apples…..maybe apple pie.
